1. Data we collect

Swift Bookmarks stores your bookmarks, categories, and optional account information locally in your browser using Chrome Storage. If you create an account or upgrade to Pro, we store your email and subscription status on our secure backend.

2. How we use your data

Your bookmark data is used only to power the extension: organize, search, categorize, and back up your bookmarks. We do not sell, share, or use your bookmarks for advertising.

3. Google Drive backups

Google Drive backups are optional and created only when you explicitly choose to back up or restore. We request only the minimum Drive scope needed to save and read your backup files. Backup files are stored in your own Google Drive account.

4. Payments

Pro subscriptions and lifetime plans are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Stripe handles payment information according to its own privacy and security standards.

5. Your choices

You can delete your local extension data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage. You can also sign out from the Account page and request account deletion by contacting support.
